Seating for any of the following technology courses is not guaranteed until payment has been made.  When registering via our online system you will be emailed a confirmation, but payment for the course must be done within 5 business days or your name will be removed from the course rooster.  This is being done due to the overwhelming demand for these courses and the limited seating.  Payments may be mailed, yet please keep in mind that the payment must be received within that five business day period to ensure your seat.  Once payment has been received you will receive a final conformation.


201*  NAVIGATING WINDOWS

Students will learn parts of the computer, terminology, use of keyboard and mouse.  They will also learn documents, directories, basic editing, functions, etc.

CLASS BEGINS OCTOBER 13, 20005 

This course will include lessons on creating a simple report utilizing margins and lists, internet integration /online collaboration, and working with tables.  Prerequisite for this course requires students to have a minimum basic knowledge of Microsoft Word.  Basic Microsoft Word knowledge will not be instructed during this course.

This course covers the basic operation of the powerful, but user-friendly Microsoft Excel program.  The student will learn how to properly set up worksheets and to utilize formulas during a practical application of the program.

Are you ready to build your first Internet Home Page for yourself or your business, but you don't know HTML, the language for Web site construction?  At the completion of the first class, you will have crated your first home page.  At the end of the course, you will take control of your page with graphics & stylized test and color.  PREREQUISITE: Must have knowledge of computer basics and must have Windows and keyboarding experience.

Learn to fill in your information properly from the beginning.  This software automatically does all the accounting for you.  Become organized!  You will have instant access to all your financial data.  Records will be quick and easy to control.  You will perform tasks such as keeping your checkbook and balancing accounts.  CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED!   PREREQUISITE: You must have formal Windows training or extensive Windows knowledge for this course.  Please bring an IBM formatted floppy disk.

208*     E-BAY – BUYING AND SELLING WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW
WEDNESDAYS - 4 Classes

e-Bay is the largest auction website offering over 4 million items for sale every day.  In this class you will learn how to register, browse for items, compare prices, place bids (including bidding strategies), let a computerized "personal shopper" search for items you are interested in as they become available, save on shipping, and finalize auctions.  e-Bay offers new and used items at a fraction of the original cost: real estate, vehicles, toys, clothing, art, coins, stamps, dolls, computers, music, videos, sporting goods, household items, etc.  you can even bid on items available only overseas.   e-Bay enables you to sell items to a world wide customer base of millions.  This class will teach you own to turn your garage sale "junk" into cash in your hands.  You will also learn how to shop by buying items at wholesale or clearance prices and selling them at a profit.  You will learn all aspects of selling on e-Bay.  This is a great way to supplement your income or start your own full or part-time business from home. No previous e-Bay experience is necessary.  If you are not already a registered e-Bay user, wait until attending the first class to register.
